How to Write a Book for Beginners
How to Write a Book for Beginners During my career, I have met hundreds of people who love to write. They create absolutely amazing scenes, poems, outlines. Their family and friends are constantly telling them that they are gifted and should sit down and write a book. At this point these talented individuals freeze. The very idea of writing a book puts them in a tail spin. Their problem is that they imagine that writing a book is a difficult process. Writing a one page poem or even a twenty page scene was no problem when no one was ever going to see it. Suddenly they imagine editors and publishers throwing their manuscript in the trash. The manuscript, by the way, that hasn't even been written yet. That is why I am writing this article - How to Write a Book for Beginners. How do you write a book? Well, it depends on the type of book. For a non fiction book, you can pre-research the topic to make sure that there is a demand before you even begin writing a single word. You can do this quite easily by going to wordtracker.com and doing a keyword analysis. For a fiction book, you can go into your local bookstore and see what type of books are popular for the age group and niche that you have chosen. Read a bit of what your favorite writers have written. Use them as inspiration. Finally sit down and write. Write without fear of spelling or grammatical errors. These can be fixed later. Simply write the way you normally do. Let go of the idea that you are writing a book and just write. The book will come and publication may follow but only if you allow yourself to sit down and right that first sentence.
